Biltong Quiche

  • 1 roll Puff pastry
  • 160 g Moist biltong
  • 1 cup Grated Cheese
  • 250 ml Cream
  • 2 XL Eggs (or 3 Large Eggs)
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Roll out puff pastry on surface covered with flour.

  3. Prepare a quiche dish with Spray and Cook and line with pastry – do not stretch pastry, it shrinks when baking. Make sure the edges of the pastry are neat.

  4. Scatter biltong on the bottom, then the cheese. Beat cream and eggs together. Pour this mixture over the biltong and cheese.

  5. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes. Take out and allow to cool. Serve slightly cooled with a green salad.

  6. You can prepare this the evening/morning before and reheat at 100 degrees.
